Parenting in Community

This class offers BCLC parents an opportunity to learn from and teach each other, share the joys and concerns of parenting, and exchange ideas and resources.

As you explore child-rearing in a supportive group, you'll get to know other parents who can offer advice and comfort, and you'll find that in turn, your insights are of benefit to them.

Parenting in Community classes will be held on Tuesdays this year, from 6:15-7:30, October-July (no meeting in December). Dates will be chosen and posted here soon! Dinner and childcare are always provided; dinner begins at 6:00, and childcare begins at 6:15, when the class starts and once children are settled. The fee for childcare is $4.00 for one child, plus $2.00 for each additional child. Childcare is lovingly provided by two of BCLC's regular teachers, so they are familiar to our children.

Prior to each class, I will post a list of topic-related articles, videos and podcasts on the Parenting Topics page, for your perusal. In addition, everyone who signs up for each class will receive the same list via email. You'll find the topic schedule below.

I hope you join me soon, and often!
